Candle Care: First burn should last 4-5 hours. Allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the jar, if you do not do this the wax will begin to tunnel, wasting wax and fragrance. Always trim wick to approx. 5mm before lighting. This ensures the candle will burn at the recommended safe temperature, and help avoid mushrooming. Burn your candle on a flat heat-resistant surface away from pets, children and flammable material as the glass container may become hot. Never move a burning candle. Allow wax to cool and solidify before moving the candle. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish all candles before leaving a room or going to sleep. Store your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
